In the first quarter of 2023, the top five travel and local apps in Germany, monitored across a unified platform, exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at their performance.

DB Navigator from Deutsche Bahn saw weekly downloads fluctuate between 66K and 78K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users increased steadily from around 1.97M at the end of December to 2.18M by the end of March, highlighting growing user engagement.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, ranging from 64K to 73K. Active users showed a notable rise from approximately 3M at the beginning of January to over 3.19M by the end of March, indicating consistent user interest.
